About the Osteopath
Zena Hewett turned to osteopathy after successful treatment for an injury after childbirth, and then seeing the benefits this approach brought. This led on to her completing a five year honours degree with the College of Osteopaths (London) and Middlesex University where she achieved distinctions in her final clinical competency exams. She has also undertaken post-graduate training in Classical Osteopathy with the internationally renowned Institute of Classical Osteopathy, and Western Medical Acupuncture training with BMAS. She also qualified as an Infant Feeding Coach to help support and guide new parents.
As an Osteopath Zena is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy, the British Medical Acupuncture Society and the Institute of Classical Osteopathy, and as such is required to maintain and extend her knowledge and skills base, with Continuing Professional Development. As a Baby Feeding Coach she is registered with the Federation of Antenatal Teachers (who regulate antenatal educators, breastfeeding counsellors and doulas).
About the practices
Zena founded her practice in West Sussex back in 2007 under its previous practice name of Dynamic Osteopathy. She continues to provide osteopathic treatment to a wide spectrum of people – young and older, fit and inactive, male and female.
